This is your opportunity to build something real.
You're plugging into systems, technology, and expertise that are already built and proven — meaningful, purpose-built work that genuinely serves people, not something you have to build from scratch.
And there's no franchise fee, no buy-in — nobody pays me or the team a cent to join.
Who this is for
In nearly two decades of business, I've noticed the A-players are always defined the same way: attitude, mindset, and coachability — not job history. This is for serious sales professionals, leaders, business owners, and solopreneurs — and just as much for those with no formal sales experience at all. This is the vehicle, built for self-starters who can hit the ground running.
The opportunity
You insure your car. Your house. Your business. Maybe even your phone. Why not yourself? Life protection is one of the only truly need-based products there is — reaching literally everyone, newborn to ninety. That's a market of over 300 million people, in an industry that's been around, and profitable, for centuries.
The largest carriers don't partner with just anybody — they partner with proven track records. Through relationship, we've partnered with one of the largest IMOs (Insurance Marketing Organizations) in the industry, which means access most agents never get: some of the highest upfront compensation in the business, and real overrides if you want to build and train your own agency — essentially your own franchise, without a six-figure franchise fee.
How it works
This isn't cold calling, and it isn't MLM. The focus is warm, opted-in prospects — people who are already asking for this protection. Over 100 million Americans are underinsured or have no coverage at all. The need is already there. And by the way, if you ever want to market to people you already know, that's your call too.
You get real sales training, monthly bonuses, and a path to profit sharing. And if you're building toward something bigger, we're backed by private equity partners focused on scaling and acquiring businesses like the one you'd build — so if being acquired is ever the goal, that path is there for you. The timing is real too — this is one of the last trillion-dollar industries to fully go digital. That wave is just starting, and the business owners and sales leaders moving into it right now are the ones who'll say they got in early.
Why I do this
I'm Tamsyn — most people call me Tams.
I grew up in Durban, South Africa. When I was four, my father had a motorbike accident that left him in a coma — for fifteen years. My mother, a stay-at-home mom, was left overnight with two young children and no protection in place for a moment like that.
That's the reason I do this work. So fewer families ever have to face any kind of difficulty alone.
And I'd bet you've seen something like it too. A GoFundMe for a funeral. A family scrambling to cover what should have been covered. It's common, it's heartbreaking, and it's preventable.
That's the work. Making sure fewer families ever have to ask.
The name
Khanyisa is a Zulu and Xhosa word — rooted in -khanya, "to shine." It means to bring light, to illuminate, to enlighten. Traditionally, it's given as a name to someone hoped to be a source of guidance, warmth, and hope in the world.
It's the language of Durban, South Africa, where I grew up — and it's become the name for how I've always tried to do business: with love and light, real care for the people in front of me, and money made with purpose behind it.
It's the same impact, service, and contribution model I've always built with — a way of doing business that circles back to doing good, not just doing well. So when you join Khanyisa, you're not just learning how to make money — you're learning how to keep it, grow it, and use it to make a difference, for yourself and the people around you.
Why I'm all in
In 2009 I built my first B2B technology consulting agency from scratch as I entered entrepreneurship — cold calling my way to results, fueled by determination, hustle, and grind — and grew it into a multi-seven-figure business, recruiting university graduates with zero working, sales, or consulting experience and mentoring them into top producers. I've built several more businesses, entrepreneur incubator programs, and mentorship ventures since then, recruiting, training, and leading top sales talent around the world. The industry looks nothing like that today — it's remote, flexible, and built for real income and freedom. After building more than one business from nothing, I know a real opportunity when I see one. That's exactly why I'm diving into this myself, not just pointing people toward it.
